Welcome to my bio

Growing up in Alabama, I was taught to value hard work. Having always believed in a strong work ethic, I have been able to achieve my goals and succeed in various endeavors.

After graduating high school in spring of 2003, I accepted a two-year vocal scholarship to Snead State Community College. While at Snead, I managed and performed with the College Street Singers, a vocal ensemble. I also worked closely with the fine arts department chair to produce all in house publications to music department productions.

As a junior, I transferred to Auburn University to obtain an undergraduate degree in public relations. Auburn offered a solid combination of academic programs and a wide range of on-campus organizations in which to participate. The university presented an environment that upheld my traditional values yet allowed me to embrace diversity.

At Auburn, I am completing a major in public relations. Just as planned, I will complete my degree in four years and graduate in May 2007.

Not content with simply book knowledge, I have sought out real life experiences at Auburn. By serving as the Vice President of Programs in the Auburn University Public Relations Council of Alabama, the charter Vice President of Ignite Auburn and by being a member of the Auburn University Singers, I have had the opportunity to interact with a variety of people and personalities.

As planned, I will receive my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations degree in May 2007. My resume and work samples show that I am a dedicated perfectionist. My goal is to obtain a job that offers a broad selection of experiences as well as opportunities to work with and learn from a variety of people. I am a fast learner who enjoys taking on new challenges and mastering new crafts. My commitment to personal excellence will make me a valuable asset to any organization.
